Commanding the Morning!

What does commanding the morning have to do with losing unnecessary weight or habits in our lives?  EVERYTHING!!!  "If we are ignorant or negligent in exercising our authority in Christ, no matter what we lay aside today, we will soon pick back up tomorrow." - Cathy Harris

James says in chapter 3 that our mouths have the ability to command, to rule the direction our lives go - each and every time we open it!  He talks of the importance of self-control and that we must control our whole body, and even our entire nature.  How do we do that?  Command how your day will be!  Preach the Word!

STEPS TO COMMANDING YOUR MORNING:
1: Recognize
Locate carnality and insincerity and strike them down like you mean it!
2: Refresh
Renew and refresh yourself in the Word of God on the subject of who you are IN Christ.  This will edify your spirit and build your confidence.  Get some target scriptures and meditate them day and night.
3: Ready/Aim
See your goal with the eyes of your spirit.  Once you see it, lock onto it.  Stay focused!
4: Release
Release God's Word from your spirit and out of your mouth.  Angels will be released to to follow your command and assist in the fulfillment of God's Word.  Good Godly things will be raised up and ungodly things will be destroyed!
5: Rest
Rest in His love.  Love never fails.  Trust Him completely.
6: Rejoice!
He is faithful! He watches over His word to perform it!  Honor God through worship and praise!
