I am REDEEMED!

• *Psalm 107:1-2* We are redeemed from sickness! Not just forgiven - but bought with a price from the devil.
• God is a just God; a righteous judge.
• All sin had to be punished. Jesus took that punishment for us! Then, He beat the devil on his own turf and put His blood on the mercy seat - making a way for us!
• To be redeemed is to be bought with a price. The price for our redemption was paid with Jesus's blood at Calvary.
• Jesus didn't die to make us "Christ Followers." The Bible says, "Greater is He that is IN me than he that is in the world." You can be a follower and still a sinner. You can be a follower and not be saved. With Him IN me, I am a BRAND NEW creature! I have been redeemed!
• *Collossians 1:13-14* I am no longer under the devil's authority!
• *Galations 3:13* God loved us so much that He sent a substitute for us!
• *1 Peter 1* Not redeemed by gold and sliver, but by the precious blood of the lamb of God!
• There is no way that the curse should ever be upon me. I will not put up with "the hand I was dealt". I am redeemed from the curse of the law! (see Deuteronomy 28:15-the end)
• Everything in the curse has NO place in my life!
• Why do some people still have the curse? there is a devil who HATES us! *Isaiah 5 and Hosea * says, "MY people are DESTROYED for a LACK of KNOWLEDGE"!!!!! Most Christians don't KNOW they're redeemed! Or, they don't know the full meaning and benefits of being redeemed!
• *James 4:7* "Resist the devil and he will flee from you" If we were just supposed to go around putting up with "our lot in life", then why would the Bible instruct us to resist the devil? We need to speak to the devil! Tell him to leave us alone!
• There is very little mention of the devil in the Old Testament b/c there was not much they could do about him. But praise God we live in New Testament times! Now that we are bought and paid for with a precious price we now have authority over the devil!
• Don't be confused by only reading the OT, we are living in NEW testament times! We need to filter EVERYTHING through Calvary!
• *Proverbs 4* "the medicine of God's word" God's Word is medicine to our physical bodies. The curse includes all kinds of sickness, disease, mental illness, and lots more, but God's Word is medicine! Take the Word literally, not metaphorically! God says what He means!
• *John 10:10* The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I (Jesus) came so that you may have life and have it more abundantly!" The curse was crated to destroy - not to punish. We need to filter everything through Calvary. If we are experiencing any part of the curse in our lives today, we need to tell the devil to get out, get his hands off us and leave us alone!
• *Deut 28:61* EVERY sickness, disease & disaster is under the curse.
• *Romans 8* The law of the spirit of life in Christ JEsus has made me free..."
• *Psalm 91* NO EVIL shall befall me
• *Psalm 103* "heals our disease"
• *1 Peter 2:24* "By His wounds, we WERE healed"
• Every disease, virus, infection, germ that touches our bodies will die instantly!
• the devil will coume at us with everything he's got to get us off the Word. But don't give up! Keep speaking the Word!
• I refuse to be sick. I refuse to be broke! I am NOT under the dominion of the devil.
• *1Corinthians 11:23-26* His body TOOK OUR place! EVERY time we do this (communion) thank the Lord that His blood was shed - be in FULL rememberance of Calvary!
• *v27-29* We need to understand the FULL benefits of Calvary
• *v30* many are weak and sickly among us because they do not fully recognize the body of the Lord. "the STRONG spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness". Be sure the Word lives IN you! It will strengthen your spirit!
• The Bible gives us numerous scripture for ammunition against the devil!
