Pick It Up, Dust It Off, Smother It With Prayer

That's the word I received last night from our guest worship leader/speaker, Daniel Eric Groves.  I know God has called me to do child care and a few years ago He told me to start a child care center.  I tried in the natural to figure it out but it never fell into place so I "put it on a shelf" so to speak and decided I'd re-think it later - when I had the finances or other resources I needed to logically start a business. 

God doesn't work according to our natural thoughts and ways. 

• Isaiah 55:8 & 9 says, "For My thoughts are not your thoughts and neither are My ways your ways. For as the Heavens are higher than the Earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts, says the Lord."  

So, now is my time to do exactly as Mr. Daniel said, "smother it with prayer."  God will show me what to do and how to do it and He will give me divine ideas to see my vision to completion!  He gave me the vision in the first place and this is the time for me to take a step of faith.
I have a supply for every need.  God leads us to a need so that we can qualify for the supply.  My natural mind wants to think more about my needs than my supply.  How can I start a business when I can't even pay my rent? I just have to fully trust in, lean on, and rely on God and He will bring it to pass. 

So, from my huge list of things I'm currently balancing, I now have clear direction on two of them:

1. renew my mind daily with the Word until I completely identify with who I am IN Christ
2. smother my future child care business in prayer
